a short trip around Devon to catch the 125 groups First tour from Manchester to Paignton aswell as the 125 tour the Britannic Explorer and English riviera express ran The same day. The 125 Tour would bring back memories of when 2+7 cars where still in action through Devon.The consist was formed of 43035 Named Exeter and 43089.Hauling the English riviera express was originally meant to be 2 LSL 47s but one of the 47s 47805 suffered a reported smoke issue on the rear prompting an inspection by the Fire brigade using a thermal camera at Westbury before being detached from the tour hence why the tour was over an Hour late! the 47 that hauled the tour by itself unassisted was 47555.
