Dhaka Bike Ride 10 10 2026 Clip 5

i used two bikes today. A full Carbon FOCUS Road Bike and a Lapierre Road bike. The reason i used two bikes is that the pedal fell off from the Carbon bike. It was due to a loose lock cap. First day out, within 30 minutes. so i walked and then put the bike on a rickshaw and got home, changed bikes, changed routes, had a shorter ride. i have also started carrying spare battery for the camera, DJI OSMO Action 6, it finishes one battery in 90 minutes. went to airport road banani gulshan natun bazar madani avenue upto the second river/canal bridge and returned. SMOG WAS TERRIBLE TODAY! hurts the lungs when it is this bad, can't sprint, climbing the bridges becomes a "conscious effort". but it wasnt too bad, on the way back the smog had drifted away with the evening fire smoke, some people cook the old fashion way in the peri urban areas. i like the smell of smoke, always have, it is just that in the evening the cooking fires start up nearly IN SYNCH together and the smoke starts to hover near the ground. riding a bicycle through that is terrible. the Pedal rickshaw pullers must be having a bad time in smoke like that, the CNG/ELECTRIC Rickshaw not so much maybe. been off the bike for 10 days, i usually try to get in 3-4 rides a week. had gained weight, and promptly dropped 3 pounds:) i guess the weight of a person at 64 will yoyo between exercise and prolonged gaps. skip the boring parts where i am actually trying to reattach the pedal without a lock cap. three times, didn't work. unless you like boring raw video of nearly no movement:) Comments are turned off as usual:)
