我是百里，正在采访100位在加拿大生活的女性。本期是第18位：赵悠悠。 百里问，为什么当初想来加拿大？赵悠悠说，自己在辽宁下岗后找不到工作，四十多岁时，只想换个地方，看看能不能挣到一份收入。 她还记得东北冬天家里的厨房，水管里出来的水刺骨地凉。那时她想，要是能流出热水就好了。她最初的愿望就是这么具体：有工作，日子能好过一点。 I’m Baili, interviewing 100 women living in Canada. This is guest No. 18, Zhao Youyou. Why did she come to Canada? Zhao Youyou tells Baili that, after being laid off in Liaoning, she struggled to find work. In her early forties, she wanted a chance to earn an income. She remembers the painfully cold water from her kitchen tap during northeastern Chinese winters. She used to wish warm water would come out instead.
