BJD’s Jana Sampark Padayatra began on October 2 from the Ekamra Assembly constituency in Bhubaneswar and is scheduled to continue across Odisha until November 2. Through the month-long public outreach programme, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) plans to connect directly with people across the state and raise issues related to public concerns, electoral promises and what the party describes as the failures of the BJP-led Odisha government.
