A Mother's Dream: How Aryamba Guided the Sringeri Jagadguru | Sri Adi Shankara's Birth Place Kalady

Exploring the historical and spiritual legacy of Adi Shankaracharya's authentic birthplace. Hosted by Smt. Sindhu Sudhir, the session features veteran journalist and researcher Smt. Choodie Sivaram to address recent geographical controversies circulating in digital media. The discussion systematically dismantles modern narratives suggesting the revered philosopher was born at his maternal home rather than in Kaladi. Drawing upon centuries-old Namboothiri Brahmin traditions, Sivaram outlines the sociological and logistical impossibilities of maternal-home births during that agrarian era. The episode traces the fascinating 19th-century historical expedition initiated by the 33rd Sringeri Jagadguru, Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharathi. Listeners are guided through the meticulous topographical research conducted alongside state officials to rediscover the village after 11 centuries of obscurity. Smt. Choodie Sivaram eloquently narrates the mystical vision involving Aryamba that confirmed the exact location of the sacred Samadhi and prompted the subsequent temple construction. The conversation underscores the profound, unbroken spiritual connection between the Sringeri Sharada Peetham and the sacred grounds of Kaladi. Emphasizing factual integrity over shifting narratives, the episode serves as a vital educational record for Sanatana Dharma practitioners worldwide. This timely release offers both scholarly rigor and deep devotion, reaffirming Kaladi's unquestionable status as the true origin of the Supreme Preceptor If these videos stir something within you and you wish to learn Vedānta in its true, traditional form, attend ABF’s camps and stay connected here: https://events.ahambrahmaasmi.org/events Email: support@ahambrahmaasmi.org #AhamBrahmaasmi #SringeriSharadaPeetham #SringeriPeetham #SanatanaDharma #Spirituality #MentalHealth #Wisdom #AnxietyRelief #SanatanaDharma #Hinduism #SpiritualJourney #Wisdom #YouthAndSpirituality #IndianPhilosophy #SelfDiscovery #EternalTruth #VedicWisdom #UnderstandingDharma #VedasExplained #Apourusheya #AtmaGnana #VedantaTeachings #SpiritualEssence #EternalDharma #shruti #smriti #purana #ramayan #mahabharat #ramayana #mahabharata #Kalady #Kalati #BirthPlaceofAdiShankara #SpiritualPodcast #Hinduism #TempleHistory
