This game started off ALL Eagles, with Benitez leading the offense down the field early for a quick touchdown run and settling things in for Mission Hills right out the gate. It looked like the Eagles were gonna control this one wire to wire. But the Grizzlies weren't going down without a fight. They found their footing late and came ROARING back to tie the game and set up a nail-biter finish that had everybody in San Diego on the edge of their seat. That's when 3-Star QB Zac Benitez showed everybody why he's got ICE in his veins. Put the team on his back down the stretch, led the game-winning drive, and capped it off with a touchdown pass with under a minute to go to seal the win for Mission Hills.
