NBA vs. EuroLeague: Two Rival Leagues, One Eventual Merger — But at What Cost?

Could the NBA and EuroLeague spend years competing for control of European basketball before eventually joining forces? Ric Bucher and Boki Nachbar explore why that scenario is increasingly plausible, why a merger may ultimately make the most sense, and the financial and competitive damage that could occur before it happens. What would rival leagues mean for historic basketball markets in Greece, Serbia, Turkey and Lithuania? Could clubs and fans pay the price for a battle that ends in a partnership anyway? The conversation also covers Panathinaikos' championship ambitions, Valencia's remarkable start, the difficulty of transitioning from EuroLeague to the NBA, Monaco's financial crisis, Mike James' Achilles injury and Tony Parker's new coaching role.
