2002 Lincoln LS, Ford EGR system troubleshooting.

This hotrod came in for a CEL complaint, and I found a P0401 fault code in memory. This fault code pertains to low detected EGR flow by the engine computer. I cover troubleshooting this system fairly thoroughly, and the diagnostic procedures performed can be applied to most EGR equipped Ford vehicles of this era. I cover the following in this presentation. Basic solenoid testing. Vacuum testing vacuum actuated valves. Basic pressure sensor testing procedures. Using scan data for direction.
