Today we have an exhibit of defunct, obsolete, or impractical electronics being subjected to too much electricity and short bursts of some more, with hilarious results.
(00:01): Defunct computer fan with blades removed, for Silent operation. hahaha
(00:38): Electric Stapler: These things are pointless inventions, since operating a normal stapler is much easier
(02:03): A Classic electrical test called High-Potential or "Hi-Pot" test, where high voltage is applied between two insulators until the failure point, but with a more aggressive failure point: mains power of 240 Volts at 30 Amperes.
(02:42): Out new kind of test: The "Mag-Pot" test, whether items can withstand an electromagnetic pulse test provided by our same pulsator machine, but with the EMP probe attachment. This cheap AC adapter is unshielded, therefore fails with a crackle-pop when hit by EMP.
(02:54): Another unshielded AC adapter, fails immediately with a poof and a flash of light.
(03:04): Webcam with no driver software is useless, ....Now must become an electrical test subject. mwahahaha
(03:14): Garmin satellite radio Antenna: who uses satellite radio these days?
(03:47): After being given a broken clear x-box controller, It is clear for one reason: you can see the electrical destruction inside, with bonus attached cable becoming fireworks. haha
(06:55): The most hated consumer item: the expensive ink cartridge! This obsolete and expired one is from a thrift store, and to blow it up we use a blastable USB cable and insert it into the package compartment and its seemingly useless empty box space at the bottom of it: who designs ink boxes this way?!
(09:53): Pure Energy batteries: Allegedly false advertising, therefore their useless orphaned chargers must blow up. hahaha
(11:00): Dodgy Euro power bar, it has copper coated aluminum wire (Illegal), somebody from Europe donated this to the thrift store, here in Canada! this surely fails the high voltage fire test.
(13:56): Remote Lamp switch, Can it handle micro power surges? haha
