KTM Train from Penang to Kuala Lumpur - Better Than Flying?

Is traveling by train in Malaysia a good idea? We're taking the KTM train from Penang to Kuala Lumpur and share our full experience with you. We're starting with taking the ferry to Butterworth where we'll board to the train to Kuala Lumpur. We booked seats on the KTM Platinum train and the total train ride takes about 4 hours. The train has facilities such as an onboard catering cart, toilets and a prayer room. The seats are comfortable and you'll enjoy the views of the beautiful Malaysian landscape right from your window.
