Building a Half-Scale Dalek! Issues 31-34 | The Neck Takes Shape

The Dalek build is back! In this instalment, we continue assembling the neck section of the Hachette half-scale, remote-control Time War Dalek, covering Issues 31-34 of the partwork collection. This time, we install more photo-sonic screens, grids, gold fixing and deflector strips, and cover brackets, bringing this section of the Dalek’s neck assembly to completion. With the black mesh and further neck rings now in place, the build is finally beginning to resemble the iconic Dalek design we all know. Next time, we begin work on the Dalek’s base plate…and start wondering exactly where we are going to store this thing.
