Munich on a Sunday morning - when the city slows down and belongs to you.
About This Walk
Starting on the famous Leopoldstraße and winding through the Maxvorstadt university quarter, this walk takes you past Geschwister-Scholl-Platz and along Türkenstraße into the Kunstareal art district, home to the renowned Museum Brandhorst. From there, we stroll through the tranquil Hofgarten, past Max-Joseph-Platz and the iconic Bavarian State Opera, then head through the historic Altstadt to the New Town Hall at Marienplatz, along Kaufingerstraße, and finish at the medieval Karlstor and Karlsplatz.
