5G NR SSB Deep Dive: Cell Search, Beam Sweeping, Power & Optimization | بالعربي

في الحلقة دي من سلسلة 5G بالعربي، هنبدأ Deep Dive عملي ومفصل في 5G NR Synchronization Signal Block (SSB)، من الـ fundamentals لحد الـ practical impact على coverage, accessibility, beam management and optimization. هنبدأ الأول بفهم الفرق بين 4G and 5G Synchronization Signals، وإزاي طريقة إرسال الـ synchronization signals اتغيرت في 5G NR. بعد كده هندخل بالتفصيل في مكونات الـ SSB: PSS, SSS, PBCH and DMRS، وهنشوف إزاي الـ UE بيستخدمهم أثناء Initial Cell Search and Synchronization، وإزاي من خلال PSS and SSS يقدر يحدد الـ Physical Cell ID (PCI). كمان هنفهم إزاي الـ UE يعرف مكان الـ SSB أصلاً، وده هيخلينا نتكلم عن NR-ARFCN, GSCN, Synchronization Raster, Point A and Offset to Point A. بعدها هندخل على SSB Time-Domain Mapping ونشرح Case A, Case B, Case C, Case D and Case E، وكمان الفرق بين Short Bitmap, Medium Bitmap and Long Bitmap، وإزاي الـ bitmap بيحدد الـ active SSB beams. جزء مهم جداً من الحلقة هيكون عن SSB Beam Sweeping and Beamforming. هنشوف عملياً إزاي الـ gNodeB بيبعت أكتر من SSB beam في different directions، وإزاي الـ UE يقارن بينهم ويختار الـ best beam. بعد ما نخلص الـ theory، هندخل على الـ practical part ونشوف إزاي نقرأ الـ SSB configuration من network parameters، وكمان إزاي المعلومات دي بتظهر في UE / Drive Test logs. هنناقش parameters مهمة زي SSB Position, SSB Bitmap, SSB Periodicity, Number of SSB Beams, SSB Power, SSB Power Offset and Power Boosting. وهنتكلم بالتفصيل عن SSB Power Boosting، وهل زيادة SSB Power معناها زيادة Total Cell Transmit Power، ولا الـ SSB بياخد power من نفس الـ available cell power budget، وإيه الـ impact على باقي الـ resources. وفي الجزء الأخير هنركز على SSB Overhead، وإزاي مكان الـ SSB داخل الـ carrier ممكن يأثر على Downlink Peak Throughput، خصوصاً لو الـ SSB موجود في منتصف الـ carrier ويسبب Resource Fragmentation. الهدف من الحلقة إننا مش بس نشرح الـ SSB theoretically، لكن نربط الـ configuration والـ parameters بالـ real network behavior والـ optimization impact. الحلقة مناسبة للمهندسين العاملين أو المهتمين بـ 5G RAN, RF Optimization, RF Planning, Drive Test, Performance Optimization and Network Design.
