Vascular Tactile Synth - Generative Patches Demo

Major blocks: 00:00 Rhythmic patches 11:53 Abstract patches 22:36 Melodic / tonal patches My highlights: 00:01 - 00:53 Rhythmic noise 01:43 - 03:21 Experimental IDM 03:24 - 06:21 Evolving rhythmic noise with dynamic mutations 11:53 - 13:51 Industrial acousmatic texture with evolving mutations 20:22 - 22:36 Evolving industrial textures 29:27 - 31:28 Sorrowful dark ambient with un-sychronised glitching 32:54 Dystopian dark ambient gothic hellscape All patches are in the key of D minor (although this matters a lot less when inharmonic generators are present, particularly in the abstract patches) -- Another unedited video where I am showcasing patches that were algorithmically generated by the three different paths: rhythmic, abstract and melodic. Some of the patches are quite busy and maximalist, so that users can then tweak and sequence them whichever way they see fit. This is my favourite methodology. I start from a generated network of nodes, and then I will move things around and edit the different settings according to what I think may improve the overall quality or character of the musical outcome, And by improving the overall quality, I am not implying necessarily that I want it to sound "better" :) (in the sense of pristine audio). Very often I actually want it to sound "worse", mangled, quirky. It really is a matter of what I want to achieve with a completely new patch that is randomly presented to me. The very last patch provided me with a perfect motif to develop a dystopian dark ambient hellspace, with a decidedly gothic flavor, #ios #iosmusicproduction #experimentalmusic #vascularsynth #electronicmusic #musicsoftware #industrial #industrialmusic #electroacoustic #rhythmicnoise #powernoise #idm Vascular for iOS / iPadOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vascula...
