Today I'm going to go over how to cut the T-Shirts so they look fabulous in your finished quilt. I show you how to cut the shirts down the sides and shoulder seams to ensure you have plenty of room to cut a 12 1/2-inch square. Then I show you how to place your ruler over the design so it is both centered and level before we cut around the sides. I demonstrate this on three different shirts, plus we are cutting a 6 1/2-inch pocket square. I start with a super simple one with an uncomplicated design. Then we move onto busier and and larger designs so you know how to troubleshoot and center your design no matter how crazy the T-Shirt is.
