STRONGER AFTER DEATH

STRONGER AFTER DEATH You buried him. You closed the mound. You assumed death would make him weaker. That was optimistic. Apparently dying was less of a physical limitation than anyone expected. 😏 STRONGER AFTER DEATH is an original epic, darkly ironic Loki song inspired by the draugr of Old Norse tradition. Told from Loki’s perspective, it explores draugr lore, supernatural strength, burial mounds, corporeal revenants, and the restless dead who could remain dangerously physical long after death. The draugr of Old Norse saga tradition were not simply ghosts. They were physical dead bodies capable of attacking the living and displaying terrifying, unnatural strength. This song brings that old lore into Loki’s storytelling with one rather unfortunate discovery: the dead man you feared while living may be considerably harder to deal with afterward. 🖤🔥 🔥 Subscribe to Loki’s Echoes for original Loki songs, Norse mythology, draugr lore, Norse Pagan storytelling, Heathenry, and stories of the old gods beside the fire. #Draugr #loki #norsemythology #norsepagan #heathenry
