This Mega Darkrai ex deck cooks — here's why! | Pokemon TCG

Mega Darkrai is the newest problem child from Pitch Black, and I’ve got a build that absolutely cooks. Nobody is building Mega Darkrai like this, and I’m fully confident in how nasty this list can get. Mega Darkrai ex comes with two incredible attacks. Dusk Raid hits for 110 damage, and if you’ve got a damaged Pokémon on the bench, you slam another 110 on top. But the real monster is Abyss Eye — if the opposing Pokémon has a special condition, you just KO it. No math. No setup. Just gone. We use Volcanion ex and Dark Bell to make Abyss Eye live at all times. Volcanion ex even lets us KO Darkness Pokémon outright, which is hilarious and unfair. Pecharunt ex gives us mobility, Mega Kangaskhan ex keeps our hand full, and Latias ex gives our basics free retreat so the deck flows smoothly. This is a basic box nightmare that hits fast, hits hard, and hits consistently. Mega Darkrai ex is here to cause problems — and we’re here for it. Enjoy.
