Some Labor Day catches on Norfolk Southern in Central Indiana 9-7-2026

I was able to get some after work catches on various Norfolk Southern lines in Central Indiana on a beautiful Labor Day afternoon. Starting at milepost 72 on the Marion Branch, we see L46 heading north with 31 cars for Poet Biorefining at North Manchester.This location is a wide spot in the road known as Fox. At Clymers, we see a meet between 36N and 121 on the Lafayette District.Later, I caught up to 36N at New Waverly, a few miles outside of Peru. The star of the show appeared on a combined 15Q/35N landbarge. The Milwaukee Road 156 Bicentennial unit was 3rd out behind the power on its way back to Oklahoma from Spencer,NC. Thanks for watching!
