If You're Still Listening🤍 Sometimes faith doesn't sound like a confident declaration. Sometimes it sounds like a trembling voice asking God difficult questions and choosing to keep praying anyway. This heartfelt song is for anyone struggling with fear, unanswered prayers, or the silence of a difficult season. Remember, you don't have to hide your pain from Jesus. Bring Him your questions, your tears, and even the little faith you have left. He knows your heart. His Presence Studio Gospel • Worship • Prayer Music Lyrics: God, I got a question I’ve been scared to ask, How do I trust Your heart when I can’t trace Your path? I’ve been saying, “I believe,” with a war behind my eyes… If You’re listening, Lord, I’m done pretending I’m alright. I’ve been praying in the dark with my back against the wall, Trying not to lose my faith while I’m afraid to lose it all. Everybody says, “Keep going, God is working out a plan,” But they don’t hear the conversation that I’m having with my hands. They’re shaking when I’m kneeling, I’m smiling when I’m weak, Got a thousand things to tell You, but no courage when I speak. I know every Sunday answer, I can quote what I’ve been taught, But it’s hard to feel the comfort when the comfort feels so far. And I hate that I’ve been measuring Your love by what You do, Like a door that stays unopened means You don’t care what I go through. I know You’re not a vending machine for every desperate prayer, But, Father, I’m Your child tonight—please meet me somewhere here. I don't need a perfect answer, I don't need to see the end. If I cannot feel You near me, Can I tell You where I've been? If You're still listening, I'm still calling, Even with these walls around me falling. I don't have the words, I don't have the strength, But I'm bringing You the little faith that's left. If You're still listening, here's my heart now, All these broken pieces on the floor now. I may not understand what You're doing in me, But I'm not gonna hide what You already see. I remember who I was before the weight got heavy, When a prayer felt like a promise and my hope was always ready. Now I read the same old verses, but the tears blur every line, And I'm asking why the peace I preach is harder to find. Did I miss You in the moment? Did I wander from the way? Did the fear become so loud that I forgot what I should say? Then I think about the psalms, all the questions David cried, How a man could sing of goodness with a storm still in his eyes. And the cross reminds me suffering isn't proof You disappeared, Jesus knew the taste of sorrow, knew the weight of human fear. In Gethsemane, He prayed with all the anguish He could bear, So perhaps my honest questions aren't too much for You to hear. I don't have to call it easy just to prove that I have faith, I don't have to paint the sunshine on a dark and rainy day. Maybe faith is not pretending that the wound was never real, Maybe faith is bringing everything to You and letting You heal. Maybe You were there when I mistook the silence, For a locked door and a Heaven that was hiding. Maybe roots grow deep where no one sees them growing, Maybe grace is working underneath the ground I'm standing on. I won't tell the hurting that they shouldn't cry, I won't call it weakness when they question why. I'll just sit beside them, let them say Your name, And remind them Jesus knows the weight of pain. So take this little faith, Lord, It's all I have today. I'm not coming with a victory— I'm coming anyway. If all I have is one breath, If all I say is, “Please,” I'll put that prayer before You, And trust You hear me. If You're still listening, I'm still calling, Even with these walls around me falling. I don't have the words, I don't have the strength, But I'm bringing You the little faith that's left. If You're still listening, here's my heart now, You can see the tears I can't explain now. I may not understand what tomorrow will bring, But I'll bring You my questions, I'll bring You everything. God, I still have questions… But I’m still talking to You. And maybe, for tonight, That’s where faith begins.
