BAND-MAID WHEEL OF JACKPOTS | EP. 7

MAIDIACS!! The *BAND-MAID Wheel of Jackpots* is BACK for Episode 7, and this time the wheel landed on **“Choose Me”**! 🤘🔥 This was my first time really sitting down with **BAND-MAID – Choose Me**, and once again I found myself asking the same question I always ask with this group: *HOW are you supposed to focus on just one thing?!* 😂 Saiki sounds incredible on vocals, Miku adds so much whenever she comes in, MISA is doing what MISA does on bass, Akane is absolutely working those drums, and then Kanami decides to start shredding like it’s the easiest thing in the world. That guitar solo had me completely stuck. 😂 Kanami has this way of playing something absolutely ridiculous while looking completely calm, and I swear that contrast makes it hit even harder. One of the biggest things I continue to appreciate about BAND-MAID is just how much musicality is packed into every song. There is always something happening with the guitar, bass, drums, vocals, harmonies, or little background details, but somehow the mix still gives everybody room to shine. That is probably one of my favorite things about reacting to BAND-MAID. You can listen to the same song multiple times and end up paying attention to a completely different member each time. And with *“Choose Me,”* I could already tell this is one of those BAND-MAID songs where a second listen would probably reveal even more. The chemistry between *Saiki, Miku Kobato, Kanami Tōno, MISA, and Akane Hirose* continues to impress me. Nobody feels like they are just there filling space. Every member brings something important to the sound, and when they all lock in together, BAND-MAID has this huge energy that is hard to ignore. I also keep thinking about what it must be like seeing **BAND-MAID live**. Because watching a performance on a screen is already hard enough when I am constantly bouncing my attention between Kanami’s guitar playing, Akane on the drums, MISA on bass, Miku, and Saiki.
