PTZOptics Move 4K and New Control Interface

At Integrate 2026, The Tech Effect’s Mark Skehan (The Bearded Tech) talks to Rob Mayer from MadisonAV about what’s new from PTZOptics, on the MadisonAV stand. A lot of camera interfaces still assume the operator knows what they’re doing. That’s usually the wrong assumption. PTZOptics’ new 4K control interface takes the opposite approach. It’s built for quicker, more obvious control by the people actually running events and spaces: volunteers, AV coordinators, and staff who need the shot without having to learn the camera menus. The red Move 4K 20X takes the same core camera into a different job. It’s designed for industrial environments, where the camera needs to be easy to spot on the floor and easy to integrate with AI-based monitoring systems.
