CORROSION MAPPING SCANNER (EMAT)

The Innerspec EMAT Corrosion Mapping Scanner enables fast and accurate no-couplant corrosion mapping. The SH–Lorentz Permanent Magnet with encoder is available in a medium size (P/N: 274A0518) and a large size (P/N: 274A0519), with the large model featuring boosted magnets to inspect through thick non-magnetic coatings and paints. The scanner is compatible with two flexible coils that conform to irregular surfaces in both medium and large sizes: the Butterfly Narrow coil (P/N: 205C1514 & P/N: 205C1523) and the Pitch-Catch Racetrack coil (P/N: 205C1556 & P/N: 205C1555), with the second coil recommended for highly corroded materials. Available with CODA and its Thickness Mapping Software application, the system provides simultaneous C-Scan and A-Scan views and delivers an accuracy of 2.5 µm (0.0001”). Want to learn more?
