15 September 2026 — National Engineers Day + International Democracy Day 🇮🇳 A regular Tuesday in my life — morning commute, office routine, traffic and some thoughts about what I see around me. On National Engineers Day, I talked about the ongoing roadwork on Madhya Marg, Chandigarh, where the main road has remained closed after the damage caused by rain. The traffic continues to be diverted through the slip road, and I shared my thoughts on the pace of the drainage/construction work. I also spoke about International Democracy Day and what democracy means to ordinary citizens — including the importance of freedom of expression and journalism.
