The Color Helm Review / HowTo

The Color Helm published by Fiatelle, Inc. in 1940. It's a cardboard volvelle wheel chart for choosing color combinations. It's a helm! This is episode 42 of my series about antique calculating devices. See here for an online interactive version of the helm, and a printable make-your-own helm! https://faculty.fairfield.edu/cstaeck... UPDATE! Since I recorded this, I found a good-quality photo of the fancier Color Helm here: http://www.deliciousindustries.com/bl... Chris Staecker webarea: https://faculty.fairfield.edu/cstaecker/ End song inspired by "Hotter Than a Molotov" by The Coup. #colorhelm #math #itsahelm
