Progress report at the Split Entry Revival project! We’re in the thick of it at Tom & Allison’s home; last visit, we hadn't begun yet. Now, here's where we're at: We have a bit of the new layout framed out The ceilings were vaulted We reconfigured some of the windows, and replaced them all with black frames What's next: We’re pouring the foundation for the front addition The old garage is getting turned into a new bedroom Adding a real mudroom to eliminate the cramped front entry Fireplace wall will get custom built-ins to help center the space Kitchen and dining areas are being combined into one large room This renovation is all about taking a typical split level home, and turning it into a space that feels bigger, brighter, and a lot more functional.
