Cruising Lysebotn, Kjerag & Gloppedalsura | August '26 Roadtrip #1 🇳🇴

We took our guests on their ultimate first Norway road trip! Our journey starts in Lauvvik, where we board the scenic ferry to Lysebotn, taking in iconic sights along the Lysefjord: Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), the world-record Flørli wooden stairs, and Kjeragbolten from the water. After docking, we tackle the famous Lysevegen road—navigating 27 hairpin turns up to 900 meters (2,970 ft) above sea level—before grabbing a coffee with a view at Øygardstøl (Kjerag Café). We then drive through the rugged landscapes of Sirdal toward Byrkjedalstunet for a traditional meal and some exploring.
