ஆற்றலனின் பல் கொழுக்கட்டை - Teething Ceremony

A glimpse from the Teething Ceremony - lovingly known in Tamil tradition as “Pal Kolukkattai” (பல் கொழுக்கட்டை) 💛 When a baby gets their first tooth, this sweet ceremony is held to celebrate the milestone. Pal Kolukkattai (a traditional rice flour sweet) is decorated with tiny pieces of coconut to symbolize the baby’s teeth. ✨ The baby’s uncle (usually the mother’s brother) gently pours a few kolukkattai on the baby’s head - a symbolic gesture for blessings, good health, and happy growth. Relatives gather with joy, laughter, and love to share in this beautiful Tamil tradition. 🌿 #PalluKolukkattaiVizha #TeethingCeremony #TamilTradition #BabyMilestone #TamilCulture #FamilyCelebration #CulturalHeritage #ExpoVisualz 👉 Subscribe us for more wedding highlights, décor shoots, family celebrations, promo shoots and trendy edits. 📸 Instagram: @expovisualz 📧 For bookings & inquiries: expovisualz.official@gmail.com
