BÅGSKYTTEN - Alf Hågedal ACCORDION Trio, LIVE 2016

The Swedish accordionist Alf Hågedal plays Bågskytten ("The Archer") by Ragnar Sundquist (1892-1951), together with Gabriel Karlsson; guitar and Christian Karlsson; bass. The concert took place in Vitsand (a small village in the northern part of Wermland, Sweden - bordering to Norway), in December 2016. The guitar lines played by Gabriel reproduces what guitarist Sten Carlberg played on the original recording of this piece (April 10th 1950). Alf's Ballone Burini-built "Excelsior" was restored, and further customised, by late Arne Hillberg in 2000 & 2002-2003. Filmed by Jan Olsson #dragspel #accordion #bellowsshake
