But despite the drama, we continue exploring and discover some incredible places along the French coast. We experience our first proper French aires, including a fantastic stop beside the River Seine in Duclair, where we explore the local market and enjoy a taste of traditional French life. We also visit Alençon, discover quiet little villages in the French countryside, and spend time on an incredible island with beautiful beaches and scenery that makes us wonder why we haven't explored this part of France sooner. And, of course, there's time for Dougie to enjoy the beach too! He's adapted brilliantly to motorhome life and is finally relaxing into the adventure.
