A walk around Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in Paris, from the busy streets around Rue La Fayette to the much quieter streets hidden behind the church. We begin at Place Franz-Liszt, walking past cafés, restaurants and everyday street life before crossing Rue La Fayette and entering Square Aristide-Cavaillé-Coll. From the square, the walk gradually climbs toward the monumental façade of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul. Under the portico, we take a closer look at the architecture and the remarkable painted panels above the entrance, while students from the nearby Lycée Jules Siegfried gather around the church during their lunch break. The barriers visible around the church are part of restoration work currently affecting the site, offering a glimpse of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul as it looks today. But the walk doesn’t stop at the façade. We continue around the church through Rue Bossuet, Rue de Belzunce and Rue Fénelon, discovering a much quieter side of the neighborhood that is easy to miss from the busy Rue La Fayette. The walk finally returns toward Rue d’Abbeville and the front of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul. A simple street-level exploration of Paris — looking beyond the main streets and discovering what lies around the places we usually only see from the front. 📍 Saint-Vincent-de-Paul — Paris 10th arrondissement 📅 September 29, 2026 🕐 1:12 PM 🌡️ 23°C 🎥 Walk Deeper | 12:30 CHAPTERS 00:00 Place Franz-Liszt 02:05 Square Aristide-Cavaillé-Coll 03:42 Walking Up to Saint-Vincent-de-Paul 04:39 The Portico & Painted Panels 06:23 Rue Bossuet & Rue de Belzunce 09:04 Rue Fénelon & Back to the Church #Paris #ParisWalk #SaintVincentDePaul #Paris10 #WalkingParis
