Dr. Cheng Chen, Senior Staff Wireless Standards Engineer at Intel Corporation, gave a talk on "Beyond Connectivity: The Next Era of Intelligent and Reliable Wi-Fi" The evolution of Wi-Fi technology is entering a critical transition phase. Moving beyond the historical focus on peak data rates, next-generation wireless architectures are expanding across three core dimensions: extreme reliability, multi-band spectrum utilization, and integrated intelligence. This talk examines how emerging IEEE 802.11 standards collaboratively address these evolving system requirements.
