Racing Winter, Preparing for Cold and Darkness, Firewood and Solar System Upgrades

Winter is just around the corner here in Alaska. Las winter we had 2 big problems. We ran out of firewood, and had to buy more, and we destroyed our power generator running it in the cold temperatures. This winter, we want to be prepared for the long, dark, cold Alaska days. So we are making improvements, but time is running out! This week, we bring some friends in to help get more done quickly before the cold days are here.
