Try the Thing with Rev. Emilee Ogden

In this conversation, Rev. Emilee Ogden reflects on a calling that took nearly twenty years to fully unfold—from being told as a young woman that seminary wasn’t an option, to discovering her vocation as a United Methodist pastor. Emilee and Amie talk about learning to trust the gifts others see in us, finding fullness in the ministry we’re actually called to, the mentors who help us keep going, and what it means to discern without needing to know every detail of what comes next. Along the way, they talk about preaching, pastoral ministry, expansive welcome, Disney World, Dr Pepper, and one simple conviction: nothing is wasted.
