VW PASSAT Steering Column Electronics Control Module replacement

Customer concern: steering wheel Buttons and horn inoperative. Also several warning messages on dash displayed. Scanned car, found several codes related to this module. Found internal failure of clockspring /wiring in this module. r&r steering column Electronics Control Module with program. cleared codes. re-tested, now buttons on steering wheel and horn works.    / @wrenchwisegarage   Note: This information is for educational purposes only.
