On-Board Karting 2018: 2 hour race Kartfabrique 29-01

29-01-2018 2 Hour endurance race Rules: Qualification: 1 flying lap (field devided into 2 groups, to create more space on track) Race: 2 hours, minimum 3 driver changes, at least 2 different drivers Starting 2018, we continued joining the endurance races at the Kartfabrique. After a good qualy the race started, and it became quite strategic early on. The driver behind me was definitely faster in the beginning, and despite me often suggesting it isn't wise to defend too much in the beginning of an endurance race, that is exactly what I did. I tried to 'force' the driver behind me to pit, hoping he would lose time after that in traffic. The majority of the race would shape up to be 'as normal' though, trying to lose as little time as possible with the backmarkers, and minimise mistakes. In the end I think we achieved the maximum possible.
