What is it like being a Traveler? Episode 07 | Binita Jirel & Khashing Rai , WeTravel-O

"When you travel to a new place, you go there as a stranger and come back as a family." - Binita and Khashing (wetravel-o) This is the seventh episode of Sulav Yatra “What is it like being a traveler?” video/blog series. We have a travel couple this time featuring Traveler Binita Jirel & Cyclist Khashing Chandra Rai, together known as 'wetravel-o'. Ms. Jirel from Dolakha having done Bachelor's in Art in Economics is a trekking guide and co-founder of Duluwatalks podcast. She was also a finalist of the Solo Women Travel Challenge in 2016. Having traveled in India, Bangladesh, and South Korea as well, she has done around 10-15 treks so far by herself. Mr. Rai from Kathmandu having done an MA in Rural Development is a Cyclist, Photo/Videographer, trekking, and mountain biking guide. He is a co-founder of Montage Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and also involved in Cycle City Network Nepal NGO. Although having completed around 40 districts by cycling, he calls himself an amateur mountain biker. Together, as named 'wetravel-o' they have been traveling for the last one year and counting. They have done Mechi-Mahakali Cycling via Postal Highway covering around 28 districts of the Terai region. Also, they have completed Kanchanjunga Area of the Great Himalayan Trails and looking to complete it once the things get normal. “What is it like being a Traveler” is a video series by Sulav Yatra which tries to create a single platform for all travelers to share their story behind their travel journey.
