목수국이 타지 않고 붉게 만들기/꽃을 먹는 풍뎅이와의 전쟁/야생화 쉼터//Hydrangeas, Flowers and Beetles/Wild Haven/September Garden

In this video, we share how we pruned some of our panicle hydrangeas and why we chose different pruning times in our garden in central inland Korea. We also take a short walk around the garden to enjoy the flowers that are still blooming, including roses and several late-season flowers. Then we talk about some beetles that have been feeding on our flowers. At first, we thought they were only on the roses, but we found them on spirea flowers and hydrangeas as well. Since we did not want to use a strong insecticide, we tried a pheromone trap and also found a simple way to remove some of them by hand. These are simply our own observations and experiences in our garden. Thank you for spending some time with us in the garden.
