The game is a spin-off of Atlus' Persona series, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. An open beta in China began in April 2024, and was later officially launched in the same month in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea. It was released worldwide in English on June 26, 2025, for Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
