Game: GS Mikami - Joreishi Wa Nice Body System: Super Famicom Version: (JP) English Patched (GSM Patch 4: Translation Only) This is the longplay of the game Ghost Sweeper Mikami - Joreishi Wa Nice Body (ゴ ー ス ト ス イ ー パ ー GS 美 神 〜 除 霊 師 は ナ イ ス バ デ ィor Ghostbusters Mikami: Nurse Exorcist of Beautiful Body in free translation), is an action and platform game released in 1993 for the Super Famicom in Japan. The game is based on the anime Ghost Sweeper Mikami: Gokuraku Daisakusen, comedy and horror anime. The story of the game is as follows: It's a quiet day at the Mikami Ghost Sweeping Company until a mysterious package arrives. It seems the kindly old storekeeper Yakuchin found a magic statue and figured it would best be kept in Mikami's hands. Of course, where there's magic, there's wealth (or something like that), so Reiko Mikami sets out to find the seven gems needed to complete the statue. The character Reiko Mikami has an enchanted staff. The baton can be powered up to shoot lighting or icicles at an angle, but its power is lost if Reiko is hit. Reiko can only hold up to three special weapons, either a scroll that sucks enemies into it, or a gem that freezes time. Each case in the game is either one or two platforming levels long followed by a boss fight. After a long time, this game finally received an excellent English translation, created by homebrewer Pizzano and released in 2026. Not content with just translating it, he released four patches: one featuring the translation while retaining the original mechanics (for purists), and three others that include the translation along with various Quality of Life (QoL) improvements—making it a great experience for all types of players.
