Air India AI 2361 Manila (MNL) - Delhi (DEL) | Premium Economy

It's been a year since the Air India-Vistara merger and the inflight product has come a long way in a good sense. I didn't see myself missing Vistara as much. Although I haven't had a "bad" experience with Air India per se, the overall brand has significantly improved. BUT, that seems to be limited to their flights on board. I had an onward codeshare connection with Air India eXpress with what was supposed to be a very relaxed transit but circumstances put me in an extreme time crunch. The moment I stepped down those stairs, I went to (pretty much) every representative of the airline to assist me in making my connection because theoretically, there was no way I was going to make it. I was either being redirected or disregarded or told "don't worry, we'll put you on the next plane if you miss this one". And when I finally made it from T3 to T1, I was welcomed with more obstacles because AI and AIX don't seem to be well integrated. After a lot of stress and crying for help later (I'm exagerrating), I did make my connection, mostly because the onward flight was slightly delayed.
