Tiny Kitchen, Family of 7: How We Make it Work

Seven people, one small kitchen- and it is the most dysfunctional room in our house. We're a family of 7 in 1,200 sq ft making it work: no remodel, no fancy walk-in pantry, just real small kitchen life. You saw the house tour- now here's the room I complain about most. Three drawers, not one of them a full foot wide, borderline unhelpful cabinets, and about two square feet of counter to cook every meal on. When going camping means you GAIN prep space, something's off. Here's how we actually make it work: what works, what drives me crazy, and what we're still working on. Nothing sponsored, nothing fancy, nothing asking you to win the lottery. But if you did, you'd share, right? 💬 What's the one corner of your kitchen that bugs you every single day? Tell me in the comments — I read them all, and I'm probably fighting the same thing. 👋 If you're new here, I'm Mandy — family of 7, 1,200 sq ft, sharing what actually works. Come back every Wednesday. ▶️ Watch our full house tour:    • Inside Our Realistic Family Home (7 People...   📺 More small-space organization:    • Small House Living: 7 people, 1200 sqft   #smallkitchen #kitchenorganization #familyof7 CHAPTERS 0:00 Intro 0:51 Basic Stats/Frustrations 1:35 Counters 4:17 Not Complaining, but... 4:47 Drawers 6:28 Organizer Regret & Natural Minimizing 7:48 Bottom Cupboards 9:57 If Not Here, Where? 11:06 Hall Closet Overflow/Plans 12:14 Upper Cabinets 12:48 Why Decanting Helps 13:33 Custom Fridge 14:51 Dead Cabinets 16:57 When Bins Are Wasted Space 17:27 Basement Shelves 20:12 What's YOUR "Kitchen"? 20:35 The Big Picture 22:19 Sometimes it's Just Hard 23:42 Bloopers Follow me on Instagram @tidystickymama and on Pinterest (TidyStickyMama)!
