Yes, yes you can. Love your bots and they will love you in return. Might have to get super lucky with the bot setup though. Definitely not recommended unless you are looking for a challenge. I found and gave the bots 2 Damnations and 1 AA12 for general ass kicking. Also gave 2 pipe bombs (was initially 3 but I lost the third one after i knocked 2 of them off a cliff by accident and almost wiped) and medkits for holding out in the mansion without ever leaving it until the final phase. Had 14k at the start of T-5. Had all upgrades bar ammo. I got really unlucky with the upgrade cards, gave purple quick slots instead of the much needed offensive and support upgrades. Bodyguard cheese is also busted right now with bots against mutations, so use it while you can. Deck: 1. Needs of the many 2. Copper scavenger 3. Money grubbers 4. Medical Professional 5. Bodyguard 6. Amped up 7. Support scavenger 8. Run like hell 9. Mad dash 10. Widemouth magwell 11. Patient hunter 12. Confident killer 13. Stock pouch 14. Silver bullets 15. Pinata Yes i know, used 2 speed cards, hurr durr, well, they help. A lot. It's like how use speed is super important in act 1. I didn't build an entire deck around them, this is just to plan out my strats better. Deck is basically a self sustaining sniper build that has to hard carry the bots for their well being and mutation killing power. Also no glass cannon, because I am actually running around with half of my hp bar being trauma the whole time. I only healed up specifically for T-5. Price to pay for equipping the bots with good gear (and robbing them of their money for mandatory team upgrades). I will say though, the biggest challenge is getting the bots to keep their gear. That means, not using a continue at all! Or they will reset their gear and items. Not even hell can wait burn cards will solve this. Wipe once, and it's back to square one. Poor Doc still died at the end though, if only I had bought 1 more defib and placed it in the truck. RIP bot Doc, you were the best. (Next to Sharice)
