Winching LOGS with YARDER & ‪@ChataModding‬ | Forestry on RENNEBU | FS22 Platinum Edition | Episode 9

Check out the map maker OlaHaldor!   / olahaldor      / olahaldor     / discord     / farmingsimrennebu   __________________________________ Today we are in Rennebu with ‪@ChataModding‬ and we have to get the trees on the side of the mountain cut and transported. Chata moved into the house next to me so we are now neighbors. He brought his new Mercedes X Claas to the new house, so we inspected the new pickup truck. Then we decided to go to the mountain top, Chata jumped into a Mercedes X Claas and I jumped into a Mercedes Sprinter van and we headed up there. When we arrived there we parked the vehicles and then jumped into Unimogs. Chata jumped into Unimog U1600 and I jumped into Unimog U-5030. I detached the winch from the truck and attached the mulcher. We decided to make a new logging trail to the mountain side. I mulched the debris on the road and Chata marked the logging trail with marking spray. After we got the trial made, we made a place where we gonna place the yarder. We had to cut a couple trees down and then we mulched the place. Then we returned back to the container and I detached the mulcher and attached the yarder on the back. We refueled the Unimogs and then we headed to the mountain side to get everything ready. Chata got the trees we cut out of the way and then I got the yarder in position and unfolded it. When that was done I started marking the trees we gonna cut and Chata started cutting them. After I finished marking the trees I started cutting the trees also. We managed to get all the marked trees cut and then we set up the yarder rope to the tree down the mountain. Then I explained to Chata how the yarder works and he decided that he wants to run the yarder. So he used yarder to get the logs to the top and I used Unimog U1600 to move the logs out of the way when they arrived at the top. Halfway through the job, we decided to switch and I run the yarder and Chata run the Unimog U1600. We got all the logs from the mountain side and we stacked them next to the yarder. When that was done we packed the yarder and then returned back to the container. We parked everything and then headed inside the container for a coffee break.
