SUPPORT Workshop: Indicators for Measuring Economic and Environmental Impacts of Crop Protection

SUPPORT Capacity Building Workshops In autumn 2026, the SUPPORT project organised a series of three capacity-building workshops focusing on the applied methodologies and key results of the project. The workshops were intended particularly for scientists across the European Union. Workshop 1: Indicators for Measuring Economic and Environmental Impacts of Crop Protection This online capacity-building workshop, organised by the SUPPORT project on 10 September 2026, explored the development and application of indicators for measuring the economic and environmental impacts of crop protection, with particular attention to the IPM Self-Assessment Tool (ISAT) developed within SUPPORT. Led by experts from Aarhus University, the Julius Kühn Institute and Wageningen University & Research, the workshop looked at the past, present and future of indicator development – from the selection of indicators to those currently included in ISAT and potential new indicators for future inclusion.
