Why does "I'm a good person, but" never end well? Why is it so hard to say "I was wrong"? And why does one mistake make us feel like a bad person? This video is not about caring less. It's about the word "be". When "good person" turns into a test you have to keep passing, you start defending the label instead of doing good. We look at four layers: why most of us already think we pass, how the mind hires a lawyer to defend the label, the idea of moral licensing (and why it's shakier than it looks), and the difference between "I did something bad" and "I am bad." You were never failing a test. Nobody showed you the difference between a verdict and a direction. Now you can see it. This video is educational and is not therapy or medical advice. Several of these studies are small lab experiments, and some famous results (like moral licensing, and the guilt-versus-shame idea) are debated or shrank when re-tested, so treat them as clues, not rules. The "pick a label that points at action" idea is the author's own reading. If guilt or shame take over your days, please talk to someone you trust or a therapist. #psychology #selfawareness #moralpsychology 0:00 Intro: the test nobody can fail 0:56 Layer 1: You already pass 1:28 Layer 2: The lawyer in your head 2:47 Layer 3: The score you keep 3:51 Layer 4: The verdict 4:54 What you can do 5:50 The answers
