A little trip back in time to Port Canaveral and Jetty Park, Florida, in the 1960s. This footage was transferred from an old family 8mm home movie and captures what the Port Canaveral and Cape Canaveral area looked like more than 50 years ago. The video includes scenes around Jetty Park, Port Canaveral, the beach and waterfront, along with a glimpse of everyday life in Florida during the 1960s. There isn't a big story to this one — it's simply old family footage that survived all these years. But that's also what makes these films interesting. Places change, shorelines change, cars change, and things that seemed completely ordinary when someone pointed an 8mm camera at them can become little pieces of history decades later.
