Do your nails have any black lines, spots or white patches on them. Many times people develop black lines on nails and get worried whether its cancer (melanoma) or not. Black lines can develop on any nails like finger nails, toe nails, thumb. According to the American academy of Dermatology presence of black lines on nails can be a sign of skin cancer and shall not be ignored.
