BINDING THE STRONG MAN – Mark 3:22-27 1. Satan is seeking to destroy every family & every individual that he can possibly can. 2. The devil is specifically determined to destroy & diminish Christian families. His strategy is to bind or negate the strong man of the home. v. 27 i. HOW CAN WE KEEP OUR HOMES FROM BEING DIVIDED? a. Pray for lost family members. b. Keep your family under the influence & teaching of a local, Bible-believing church. c. The family that prays together is more likely to stay together. d. Families should have wholesome fun together regularly -families that pray together & play together stay together. e. Keep Christ at the center of all family relationships. ii. WHAT DO WE LARN FROM SAMSON THAT CAN KEEP US FROM STUMBLING? a. We must rely on God’s strength and not our own. b. We must not play with sin, c. We have to take our enemy & our walk with God seriously. iii. HOW CAN WE STAY FREE OF SATAN’S BONDAGE? a. Remember there is one Person who cannot be bound. b. Recall the words of God. c. Recall yourself from the point of temptation. d. Remind yourself of the awful price of sin. The Bible says that the way of transgressors is hard, Prov. 13:15 e. Review the fact that God sees all we do & we will stand before Him one day, Prov. 5:21 f. Recommit your life to God moment by moment. g. Return to God now like the prodigal returned to his father.
