In this video, we visit the 'Stadsmuseum' (City Museum) of Kampen, where they have tons of information about the Hanseatic city called Kampen. This city is one of the oldest in the Netherlands, with a rich history to explore. We were pleasantly surprised by this museum, which has many interactive displays and impressive objects to show. What made our visit even nicer, was the fact that we got to visit two different locations with our museum ticket. The old synagogue of Kampen forms part of the Stadsmuseum and thus you can visit it with the same ticket. Apart from learning about Kampen and the Hanseatic League, we also discovered a lot about the former Jewish community of this fascinating city.
