A brief description of this song is given below : O Goddess Lalitha, the delicate one, who resides in the city of Kanchi. You are the exquisitely beautiful, Tripura Sundari, protect me, I pray to you. Your eyes are like the petals of the blue lotus, which is always benevolent towards the welfare of your devotees. Your curly locks resemble the dark clouds. Please show me compassion. O goddess! You are worshipped by the entire world and you foster them. Oh Sri Kamakshi, please bestow stability to my wavering mind. Oh Sive the consort of Siva, bestow me unflinching faith in your lotus feet. You are treasure house of compassion.
